Welcome! My Life Lately

Hi! I’m Koms — a 31-year-old consultant living just outside of Toronto with my husband in our little condo that we’re slowly turning into a home. We moved in about two years ago, and while we still don’t have matching dining chairs (or a finished anything, really), there’s something sweet and calm about building a life piece by piece. It’s not perfect — and that’s kind of the point. I’m trying to be intentional with how I furnish our space, spend my time, and live my days.

I’ve been thinking about starting this blog for a while. There’s something I really love about the idea of documenting the little joys — the moments, routines, places, and things that make everyday life feel a bit more meaningful. I don’t have a specific niche or a big plan for this space, but I do know I want it to feel like a gentle record of things I love. Think: cozy corners of our home, a really good cup of tea, small rituals that help me reset, and all the moments that make me pause and think, I want to remember this.

This blog is a little different from the rest of my life. Most days, I’m in consultant mode — structured, organized, and thinking five steps ahead. But here, I’m trying to slow down, step back, and give myself space to just enjoy. To notice and celebrate the beautiful things in life, big or small. Whether it’s discovering a new café, coming across a book that stays with me, or finding a bracelet that makes me feel a little extra chic, I’m learning to let go of the need for everything to be perfectly planned — and instead focus on curating a life that simply feels good, right now.

So here we are. If you’ve stumbled across this post — welcome! I hope this space feels like a chat with a friend. Thanks for being here as I document my life lately.
